Like the saying goes, All good things come to an end. So does age. Tomorrow I turn 59, happy birthday to me. I know what you must be thinking, SO WHAT, right? Maybe so, but having been born on De.30 1958, this will be my last day being 58. As I was getting ready for work this morning I thought about what I remember about all those years. Should I share them? Would it be boring? Maybe so! Sometimes we blog boring things to some people. So here it goes about life through the years and what I remember.
Nothing- I was just born. I do know who was the President then because I leaned about it in school.
I remember us moving to a different town.
Hearing about JFK
The Beatles (Have a sister 10 years older)
Learned to dance to rock and roll (older sisters taught me)
The space program. My Grandfather went to his grave believing that they faked it and filmed it in the California desert.
Little league baseball
Learning to fish
Learning to water ski
Learning to shoot a gun
Kissed my first girl – who’s not related
Kissing more girls
Friends lots of friends
Flat top hair cut me
Long hair (others)
End of the Viet Nam war
Making out with girls
Friend’s who were killed
Getting drunk a lot
President Reagan ( The best president so far in my lifetime)
Living on my own
Paying my own way
Owning a boat
Fixing a boat-a lot
Praying to receive Christ as my Lord and Savior
buying a house
Spending all my money on children
First Disney world trip
Waiting on the world to shut down (Still waiting) Haha
Working harder to save up for retirement but not getting there
